This hits hard, and is so true. No disrespect to Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., but it feels like his quote, "The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice" should have a caveat that reads, "unless you are a woman or member of a marginalized group."
Wow I couldn’t agree with this more! She doesn’t have to be like able to be right!! Just bc you don’t like her doesn’t mean it’s ok for her to be taken down like this, but of course, our culture has always had a problem believing women… from the witch trials to now. Thanks for writing this!
